So far so good- first order here- they are super covid friendly- I had to go in and order I couldn't find a menu online- but put in my order and ten minutes it was ready- they had Five pick up orders in the Tim Eli was there- I got the special friend rice- two shrimp egg rolls(YUM) and the special spicy chowmein oh and egg rolls- cause why not- Seems legit handmade- looking forward to trying something else- super friendly service
Don't let the building fool you. This is a gem. They still make their egg rolls by hand. No frozen dried out substitutes here. I could make a meal out of the egg rolls alone. The other dishes we had were fresh and plentiful. Wish I didn't live 3000 miles away. I'd be here all the time.
Surprise happiness. Ding Ho has delicious Chinese selections of many types. Very friendly staff give prompt, professional service and accommodate special requests without any fuss. Happy Family with plenty of fresh vegetables, seafood and chicken. It is a welcome treat to break up a long drive from Seattle to Klamath Falls.
Ding Ho saved my life! I'm not kidding! After five days without a hot meal on the Cycle Oregon tour (I'm vegan - I ate out of my ice chest) -- I took advantage of the layover day to go find some fresh, hot food. I called first to find out if they had tofu and was told "yes!" This place is in kind of a weird space -- a bit dingy and worn down, with red duct tape holding together the cracked vinyl on the seats in the booths, and very well worn carpet. However -- NB -- the place smells GOOD! It did not have any mildewy or bleachy or pine-sol-y smells. It just smelled like good food cooking. Service was fantastic, friendly and warm. I got my lunch so fast, lots of fresh veggies and tofu. All good and delicious. I returned several hours later for an early dinner -- and the hostess/server was talking with her grandmother and handing her a "to go" order. "I'll come visit you soon, grandma!" After looking over the menu, my server said "No celery this time?" I said "that would be great!" She told me that they don't pre mix their vegetables, they are all fresh each time -- so they can customize anything. And while I waited for my dinner, I could hear her greeting people by name, ordering up their "usual" and taking very personally customized orders at tables all through the restaurant. It's a very family oriented restaurant -- I felt like I was eating in someone's family home -- and I felt very welcome. Somewhat Americanized Chinese food but with all fresh veggies and incredibly reasonable prices -- and excellent service! Highly recommended!
We stopped here while passing through on a road trip. I had the Kung Pao and it was very good whereas the sweet and sour pork was just average. We both thought a little more rice and a little less entree would work for us. The staff was nice and efficient and the prices very reasonable. If I lived in this area I would probably show up once a week.
